Pedagogical activities
The Educational and Cultural Activities Department of the Zarzuela Theatre has the fundamental task of promotion and diffusion of zarzuela productions by the institution among children and youths from educational institutions (schools, high schools, universities, etc.) and among members of social groups with an interest in our lyrical heritage (cultural associations, foundations, adult education centres, theatre groups ...).
The educational activity carried out by the theatre is based on zarzuela programming in minor format for educational purposes, in order to carrying out a series of activities that contribute to better enjoyment of the staging, awakening interest in the lyrical genre and to it being considered not only a means of leisure, but also a vehicle for personal growth
