Antonio Fauró started his music studies in the Conservatory of music of Madrid, extending them with Martin Schmidt, Johann Dujick, László Heltay and Arturo Tamayo, among others.
He was member of the Zarzuela Theatre Chorus, working as a soloist on their tours to Paris, Rome, Tokyo, Seville and Valencia. He was Choral Director Assistant with the masters José Perera, Roman Gandolfi, Ignacio Rodríguez and Valdo Sciammarella.
He has directed the Symphonic Chorus of the University of Chile, Chorus of the Community of Madrid,Chorus of the Symphony Orchestra of Madrid, owner of the Teatro Real in Madrid and Chorus of the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
Since 1994 he is Director of the Zarzuela Theatre Chorus in all its productions of opera, zarzuela or oratory.
He has worked with conductors such as Lorin Maazel, Peter Maag, Alberto Zedda, Miguel Roa, Antoni Ros Marbà, Jesús López Cobos, David Parry, Lorenzo Ramos, Luis Remartínez, Manuel Galduf, Miquel Ortega and with the scene directors Emilio Sagi Marsillach, Giancarlo del Monaco, John Cox, Calixto Bieito, Luis Olmos, José Antonio Plaza, Gerardo Vera, Nuria Espert, Pier Luigi Pizzi, Jesús Castejón, Sergio RenánPaco Mir and Santiago Sánchez, among others. It belongs to the ONG Voices for peace since its foundation.
